it isn't scary if you have access to the roof space above where where you want to put it so you create a large loadbearing structure. I used long strengthened steel eye bolts that go up into 2 8ft 4"x 6" planks that run at 90º to the ceiling joists. I live in an earthquake zone, and am very aware of the possible issues, and I think this is safer than it rolling around the garage in a 6.0.
