| Message: | | I use the one from Roadster Solutions. It covers just the roof and windows, and has foam on the sides to protect from door dings to the curve in the doors. I use it daily, as I am forced to park outside at work. I have noticed light scratching on the doors, as I am not fanatical about keeping the car totally clean -- hard to do here in Hawaii anyway. It does prevent damage to the convertible top, preserving the stitching and color, as well as totally keeping the sun off the dash and interior and back window. In 8 1/2 years I have had my car, I have gone through 5 roof covers, the sun just ends up destroying the covers (and not my roof or interior). I have a full cover, but find it too difficult to put on and off, and also to keep on the car in the trade wind conditions, also much more damaging if the car is not totally clean, so the full cover sits in my storage.
