I'm an enthusiast with several BMW experiences under my belt (E30, E34, E12) I can say that it is the E12 that gave me the most fun, bang for the buck, and tinkering satisfaction. My old E12 was a 76 530i but that been sold now. I'm presently looking for another one right now, but got my sights set on a euro this time. These are easier to come by here in Manila and besides, I'm looking to simplify my life by carburetting it with 3 side drafts.
Comes the problem: I need a front and trunk spoiler! Will appreciate any used, new set. Will also make do with a lead. Know any sites? I intend to put ALPINA stripes on the car,but will omit/not stick the ALPINA part. Know where I can get hold of these stickers? Would also be great if you guys can send me pics of your cars, I'll swap you mine.
Thanks in advance.
The original wide Alpina stickers for the E12 are NLA. I have found a complete set I plan on using on one of my cars though for $250 used.
You can purchase the new more modern looking sets for a E28 or E34 (they look like the later E12 B7S turbos stripes) for about $500 from an alpina distributor like KSK.
I have installed the newer style on one of my B7's. They look very nice....
