A friend came to me with a cylinder head stamped E-12. It also has a stamping of 73. Would that be the year? It looks to be a completely rebuilt cylinder head (new valves, rockers, etc.). What would something like that be worth and are any of you guys in the market for one? I am an E-21 addict myself (I currenly have 4). I could provide pictures if there is enough interest shown.
Gary

I think this is a 4 cylinder 2002 head, correct? Not a big six head for a BMW 530/528 E12 chassis car....

The E12 designation is the casting type. And you are correct that the date is probably 1973.

Post on the 2002 BB and you'll probably get some good response.
