Appreciate the following estimates for my Solex 4A1 carburetor #1266255, on a 6 cylinder 1990cc engine, in my 1980, 520 BMW, manual 5-speed. I live in Naples, Italy so low cost "FIT" maintance suggestions (Fix It Again!)apreciated.

1. Carburetor rebuild kit. Carburetor gasket kit including manifold gasket between carb and engine. List additional costs for idle shutoff valves, TM starter, temperature valve, automatic choke replacement/update for water activated choke.

2. a reconditioned carburetor
3. a replacement carburetor

Jeff, if you have access to the roundel magazine (bmwcca car club magazine ) look up a place called " double '02 salvage", they sell rebuilt solex carbs., or just look them up online, Tim.
