Why don't you sell the car and buy a factory built auto trans E12. Or sell the auto transmissions and use the money to fix the manual trans you have now. Most guys do this swap in reverse. I guess you could do it. But Why? MHO
have a '78 528i and would like to know if it's possible to change from manual to auto, i have 2 of these automatics,1 has the 9 pin connector on it but i can;t find where it goes or if it will work?,thanx had this posted in wrong section before
