Greetings! I have joined the BMW world after years of American muscle and I am incredibly pleased. I purchased a 1979 528i 4 spd. last weekend and though the car needs some TLC, I was amazed at its handling and power. I do need some assistance from fellow enthusiasts. I need to replace my tires ASAP. I have searched the posts here and elsewhere for info regarding what STEEL WHEELS will fit my car. I would like to go with 15 x 6.5 or 7. I see that E24/34 cars have wheels that will fit but... how can I select a proper offset, etc. from a junkyard or ? I am looking at 205-50 or 225-50 tires. Can someone please offer me their expertise in my wheel/tire search. Thanks! I have other ?s about brakes but that can wait!
