IN THEORY, you are making about a 17% ratio change here, so your top speed might be potentially 17 per cent higher if the motor can still reach maximum RPM. In reality, it may not be able to pull max RPM with a taller ratio -- indeed, your actual top speed may be lower than now, depending on where the engine output curve crosses the air resistance curve. There are a LOT of recent cars with overdrive top gears which are faster in direct drive than overdrive.
