A seized fan clutch will only cause a bit more wear on the water pump bearing. If radiator is good, check or the dreaded cracked head by removing the radiator cap and looking for bubbles in the overflow tank. Bubbles, not turbulence means a cracked head or a blown head gasket. If your car still has the thermo-reactors it will run warm at best but shouldnt overheat.
