Clutch kits are available from BMW parts suppliers. I have had good luck with Mesa Performance. Be sure to mention that you don't want a stiff clutch and I am sure they can set you up. Also be sure to lubricate all the pivot points especially in the pedal assy. and throwout arm.

Hey do you live in the LA area? It sure would be nice to have a M535i at the E12 Corral. Please see a few posts up for more info. Can you make it?


The clutch in my 81 m535 is extremely stiff. Anyone know where I can get a lighter one. Tendonitis is setting in.


unfortunately I live in norcal. The car is for sale, if someone is interested I could come down.
