I posted my experience to firstfives.org and they added it to FAQ.

You need a set (or 1 1/2 four-cylinder sets) of intake runners and gaskets. 528i intake manifold gaskets work fine.

Then you need to rig up a support for the fuel pressure regulator, and supports for the fuel return line and wire along the left side of the engine. The FAQ includes a picture of my solution for those.

BTW this mod really kicks. Do it before your dyno run and let us know the results.
