Sorry for the long post.
I'm in the process of buying a house & unfortunately have
to sell my beloved '88 M5 (the car is located in the DC
metro area). The car runs & looks great & the engine feels
very strong. Overall the car it's in excellent condition for its age/mileage (usual rock chips on hood & front spoiler but no dents). All (& I mean all) electrics work, clean Carfax history & all VIN tags in place (no accidents).
The details are as follows:
-159,xxx miles (excellent condition for its age & mileage).
-All records since car had 29K miles (professinally
serviced, I have a thick stack of receipts).
-Driver seat shows the most wear but I currently have
black Supreme (brand) custon covers (w/Motorsport
stitching) on both front seats.
-Dinan chip (290+ HP), short shift kit & strut tower brace
-Built in K40 radar detector w/in-dash display & H4
headlight conversion.
Some of the most recent service:
-New battery (2/01), new Pirellis P-7000's (1/01)
-New MIM Venezia 16x7.5 5 spoke wheels (1/01). Also have stock BBS wheels.
-Coolant flushed & replaced (12/00)
-Tranny & differential fluid flushed & replaced w/Red Line oil (10/00)
-Drive belts, motor mounts, guibo, fan clutch,
transmission mounts (320i mounts upgrade) (10/00)
-VA emissions & safety inspection passed (10/00)
-New upper control arms, bushings, center link, tie rod
ends, idle arm at 147K miles (3/00)
-New F & R brakes (pads, sensors & rotors) at 140K miles
& new front Bilstein sport shocks & spring pads at 139K
miles (3/99). Rear SLS works fine, no leaks that I can tell.
-Full tune-up (wires, distributor cap, plugs, fuel filter, etc) & valve adjustment at 123K miles (5/97)Asking price is $11K OBO
Thank you,
Luis
