E12 Electrical gremlin...4 way flashers on? (archive)

I came out this morn to find my 1980 528i with its hazards going...trouble is i didn't turn them on the nite before? And now they are on and won't turn off? The switch does nada? Anybody have schematics or know where I could get some? Or is anybody familiar with the circuit? Does the switch turn on a relay and if so, where is it located? thanks! Jon
