s.f bay area e12 projects for sale, 2 cars 4 $600 (archive)

I'm looking to sell my 1980 528i. I have owned the car since
1993. the car has a 5spd and is polaris w/black e28 leather(seat are firm with no tears in the leather) interior. the car has bilstein hd's, custom springs, and a larger adjustable front sway bar.I have a custom 2.5" exhaust system with a 26" muffler that passed Ca emissions 3 times in six years of use. the engine runs great,smokes a little at start up, doesn't leak any oil, compression is 140psi accross the board and the car runs cool. the car has a newer fan clutch. the body is pretty beat up, no a/c, all the power windows work. the trans shifts perfectly but could use new seals. I put over 140K miles on this car and have sent alot of money and time enjoying it. the car was last registered in 02/2001.

I also have a 1979 528i that runs but, has a blown head gasket and a bad auto trans. I do start the car and drive it around my yard. the 1979 is tan w/tan leather. the body and paint and the interior on this car are in next to perfect interior. this car was garaged, super, super clean.

$600.00 takes them both. the 1980 can be driven, the 1979 will have to be towed. I have a friend in the tow buisiness will give me a deal on tows.
