Jerry, The price is a tad high, but not unreasonable. For over $3K the car should be a Gem both mechanically and in appearance. I recommend taking it to a qualified mechanic or dealer and get it checked out -- and don't skimp on the mechanic fees $200-300 for a complete once over will save you heartaches in the future.
