I believe it will...the engine will also bolt up directly and give you over 200hp just that easy....just pull and swap...you might need a 5-speed driveshaft from a e12 I dont know but I would think the 735 would be longer.

i am the new owner of an 81 528, automatic, 102k. i plan on converting to 5 speed and have a 79 735 euro parts car. does anyone know if the pedal assembly from the 735 will fit on a 81 528? thanks in advance, any advice appreciated.
