I'm not sure but I doubt the pedals will work, but a word of caution, if you are using the 735 tranny, all the US 7's had electronic speedometers and the 528i had mechanical with a cable.

If I got the facts straight, I think all BMW models changed over to electronic speedometer during the '80s. The 79 might still have mechanical drive. It's easy enough to check your donor for a spedometer cable.
