If you live in CA just look for an '80-'81 that looks good and passes emissions. You should be able to find a good one in the Recycler for 1-2K.
They are great cars and bulletproof. Check on Ebay now I heard there were a couple on there now in So Cal.

Good luck,

John

From a '02 owner-
I'm looking to augment with a six cylinder four door. E12's seem like a viable choice. What kind of guidelines do you guys have? Is it as simple as sticking with '79 or later with lambda?
I live in Ca., so generally the rust issue is not. Other than that, what should I look for?

TIA
Robert
