Cost of an E12? (archive)

I was wondering how much an E12 with a good body would run. Interior does not have to be perfect, or the mechanicals. I was thinking about swapping in a euro 3.5L engine and the euro dogleg tranny. Question is can I swap in the euro motor and tranny w/o too much hassle? I think so since the 635 it came out of was designed off the E12 chassis (from a 1979 635). Let me know all.

Reason I want to put all that in an E12 is I want more room, plus the 635 body is toast but motor and tranny are good. Trying to get a ballpark dollar figure here.
