E12 alternator has solid mounts for early, rubber for most late models. Bushings are replaceable and urethane works well. Check BMP and others. All are internally regulated. Not sure if they will fit your 02. Good luck.


I am looking to install an E12 alternator into my 2002 to gain ome benefits if it'll fit.

Are all E12 alternators internally regulated? (2002s are externallty regulated).

Does the E12 alternator have solid mount bushings or, like 2002s are they rubber that wears out in a couple of years?
