It sounds like they are giving you the run around BS that is usual for guys at the dealership that know SFA about the cars. The problems you are having should not be occuring. Call the head office in your country to ask them about it. If you get any flak (but I suggest a polite approach) ask for a number or something to contact BMW head office in Munich. Tell them you need it to ask Munich about the problem seeing as everyone in your country does not seem to know anything about the car. THIS WILL GET RESULTS!!! If your national BMW head office thinks you are serious about calling Germany and asking them why your local/national dealer can't deal with your car they will suddenly find away to fix your problem.
