forum.

Regarding what will fit. Go to the E28 forum and search the archives. This question comes up on a regular basis. But for starts look for 5x120 7" to 8" width, ET 20 through ET23 with 225/50/16 tires. The E32 7er basketweaves are 8x16 ET23 and are a bolt on with 225/50 tires. Also all E34 wheels and some of the E39 wheels with hubcentric rings "available from Tirerack".

What other BMW wheels will fit on this car? What is offset anyway? Is that the distance from the wheel to the shock tower? I need four rims. Ideally 16 or 17" rims that will fit on my 535i that are not metric. Michelin 390TRXs are about 15.5"
