It's been a few years since I did an E-12 based 6 series but the basics were the tranny, the shifter linkage, pedals and the driveshaft, which is close enough to work exactly the same. I think there was a bit of an issue with the clutch master but no big deal. If you are paying someone forget it but if you don't mind doing things yourself it's not that difficult. I would try to find a doner or a DIY junkyard, there are always bits and pieces that you don't think about until later.
