So, let me get this straight. If we disregard emmissions, the stock headers on the '78 530i are not good for the engine due to increased heat under the bonnet. Can I just change the headers from another engine, maybe and older one, to solve this heat problem? Are those Stahl headers easy to install or are there other things I have to consider rehooking up or bypassing? Sorry, I'm not too informed with these machines. I'm an 02er originally.
