Is the yellow spout coming out of the firewall? If so, it sounds like one of your cooling hoses from the heater core (inside the firewall) to the engine (either to the head or bypass pipe) has come loose. Otherwise, sounds like a leak in your heater core. Pray that it is not; it is much easier to install a new hose.

I was driving my 535 the other night when the warning "coolant temp" came on, then my windshield filled with fog and the interior of my car filled with the smell of coolant. my first thought was that my thermostat went out so I replaced it but when I started the car back up and got it hot i could see a stream of coolant running from underneath the car. When I got under and looked there is what appears to be now, a yellow spout with no hose which is where the coolant was coming from. Any ideas?
