Need more information, especially if this is
an overnight problem or one that has been building. I don't have much experience with
overnight oil pressure problems. There probably
is not a quick fix to the problem unless you just
have a bad grounding of the sensor to the block.
Clean the mating surface for the sensor at the
head. Blocked passage? Maybe. However, not much
oil actually seems to flow by the sensor anyway.
What about oil weight. Before you get into heavy
duty work I would run something thick in there
and see if that helps fix the problem, maybe 60W,
but that won't solve your problem if you need
to drive in winter.
I've run that before in the summer in Atlanta.
Also, maybe screwing in a mechanical pressure gauge in place of the sensor to check the oil
pressure would be nice.

Having trouble with my oil light. Its staying on eventhough the engine is topped up. I've also replaced the oil sensor at the back of the head. Are there any other sensors regarding oil or do I need to replace my oil pump. Would blocked oil passages result in the light staying on?

Please help, need to have this baby running before the snow comes.

Roman
