Under the intake towards the front of the block, if it is a 3.0 it will have a designation "3.0/3.3"


i have recently aquired a 1975 euro 528 with twin carbs, its has only done 108000km's (65000miles) everyting about the car is immaculate, however the original 2.8L gave out (i don't know why) a couple of thousand km's ago, and was replaced by previous owner with a non-discript 3.0L. All i know is that it still uses some cooling system components, and carbs/exhaust. Does anyone have any clues for me to look for in identifying the engine or know where i can make use of the eng.#??
