I have a friend who imports Citroen 2CV's. He spends hours on the internet, locating, shipping, buying, fixing and driving 2CV's. There is an ardent following for these cars.
I have ridden in many of his and driven them. They have a smaller engine than my BMW motorcycle.
I don't get it..... Yet they remanufacture these cars on early chassis to avoid the emission reqs, and sell them titled 25 years old for upwards of $10,000, more or less.
There may be no logical explanation that will convince you to feel the way we do about our cars. Like I said before,,,, they grow on you. The more people we cannot convince, the longer they will be available and inexpensive to acquire.
So, in closing, I say they are HORRIBLE cars, and you should never consider getting one. At least not one of the three I own.
