Hmmm,
to describe the appeal of this particular vehicle would take up too much bandwidth. How many of today's cars will be on the road in 2021? How many will develop a foaming-at-the-mouth cult following?
I've only seen 7 e12s in person. I own two of those. Money can't buy that. A brand new suburban? I'll see two dozen a day.
Try to change the oil in one of the plastic atrocities built today. There are so many safeguards and restraints, I expect that next year's model of whatever will change one's diaper for them, and spread that grey poupon too! (couldn't resist)

I understand there is probably a nostalgic type value attached to these cars for some of you when you bought it new
I also understand some things can't be explained....but if most of you could help me in understanding the appeal of these cars..I'd appreciate it

Bearing in mind I posted a similar question to the 2002 board a while back and the general consensus is ease of modding, working and still cutting edge handling, as well as a few intangibles,,I may be off, but that criteria dosen't seem to apply here...or does it
