About the intake runners, Since it takes six of them I would be taking 1 1/2 worth from an e21. On the car I remove 2 from, which ones am I going to need? I guess I'll take all 8 and through trial and error fit them one by one.

The bolt pattern on all the intake runners are the same. They fit the manifold at different angles because the studs on the manifolds are angled that way. On my car, of the six intake runners I picked up three had no studs for external supports, two had short studs, one had long studs. So I put the one with long studs on cylinder #1 to hold the fuel pressure regulator, with old sway bar bushings to act as vibration isolators. The runners with short studs went onto cyl# 2 and 4, to support the fuel return line and wire harness. Runners with no studs filled the rest.

Mod made a noticeable difference on my 3.5L engine. :-)
