Allignment of '98 528i (archive)

I had my car's steering box replaced due to a fluid leak and tie rods replaced. The garage alligned it (twice!), now the steering wheel is about 2 degrees off of horizontal. The service folks claim this could be normal and the car is actually straight. The car has 37K on the odometer. Any thoughts?
