This motor has HC pistons and was wondering if I could swap pistons into the 528i or swap the crank from the 2.8L into the 2.5L. I have access to a completely Euro 525. This would be cool! A High compression 2.8L injected euro motor!


the europe version
525 bore 86mm stroke 71.6mm comp 9.0 to 1(150hp)
528i bore 86mm stroke 80mm
the comp ratio is 9.0 to 1 8/1977 -8.1978 (177hp)
9.3 to 1 9/1978- 7/1981 (184hp)
