I put an E28 radiator in a 77 530i. I don't
red line on temp while idling in Dallas anymore.
Average running temp year round is around 3/8
mark. I also use a 71 C thermostat.

Maybe a recore would help, but aluminum is
superior to brass in heat conduction. Looks
like recoring costs approach new radiator costs.

I am looking for a replacement radiatior for my 1980 528i. It gets pretty hot in the summer, and I want to find out my best option.

Thanks
