3.5L upgrade to 530i (archive)

Hi folks,
I aquired a good 3.5 liter from a '85 735i YESTERDAY!
I'm gonna put it in my '77 e12. I'll keep the Ljet; I'm not doing the motronic conversion.

I've a question?

Which camshaft is the better choise to use? The L jet cam or the motronic cam? I'ver heard the L jet cam give better torque at lower RPM and the motronic more high er RPM power. Any of the true?
