As Dean pointed out, firstfives.org had a thread on the subject for a while. I think it's been organized onto a FAQ. The major improvement is to replace that six-into-one exhaust manifold with a split manifold running three exhausts into each of two primary pipes. In my case, I got the manifolds and dual cats from a totalled e34 car, but I also got the 3.5L engine. ;-)
