Ok I have a break lining light on in my 535is bmw 88
My old mechanic who riped me off fixed it once.. now its back.. and my new mechanic checked everything and now says its a fues.. i dont think it is.. what could it be?

My orginal mechanic put me up in air went under car turned wheels to the left / then right.. and it was fixed..

A defective brake pad wear sensor??

These do go bad...and are easy to replace. $5 part.

That's what aways set off the warning light on my cars....
