Runs great. 223,532 miles. no significant problems except motor cuts out unexpectedly. It will quit when car is running and then start up after without incident, but not immediately. Kept journal of when it died for over six month period to try and find clues, but no clear pattern evident. Replaced numerous parts to no avail. Lasted theory is a vapor lock of some kind. Replaced Charcoal canister and thinking about EGR valve? Any ideas? This is the last outstanding problem I have with this car.


It's probably the ECU computer box. Failing. When hot it fails, after engine compartment cools down a
bit, then it starts working again...check all connections at the coil too, could be a loose wire.
