Since you supplied no e-mail address, a thanx hereby.
Your info took care I did not buy a fake M535i. The car that was offered to me was completely M535i, except for M535i mark on the VIN plate. When checking the VIN through my local BMW dealer they found out it had originally been a 525.
So of course I was a little disappointed, since I really wanted to have one, but I remembered a friend asking me somewhere in october last year if I knew where to obtain a muffler for an M535i. He needed the info for a friend of him who had one and he needed the muffler, since he wanted to sell his car. I thought that this car never could be for sale anymore, but I called my friend to ask the telephone nr. of this guy, just to check. And he still got it! So I went for a test drive and the car was remarkably well. It was a lot more expensive then the fake car, but it was genuine, so I bought it.
110.000 kms (probably true, the car looks like that). It had been imported to Holland 2 years ago from Italy. No extras like a/c or sun roof, but who cares, it drives like hell. Of course it has all the goodies, the CR, LSD, Recaro seats, M1 wheel etc.
If appreciated I will make some pics and put them on my site, just let me know.
Regards,
Jeroen
