Thanks to one and all who sent me leads on solutions to problem, however I think I solved it once and for all. Becasue of my recent unemployment I've had plenty of time to study this problem thoroughly. It seems the fuel pump was not drawing enough amps because upon testing it I discovered that there was alot of resistance, I believe this resistance in turn was causing trouble in the Combo Relay, and the random motor dying syndrome. So, I added a second ground to the fule pump, grounded to the bracket attaching the fuel pump to the under carriage of the car,and viola high resistance be gone. I'll follow up.
