I am from the e21 board. I need a master cyl from an E12 to do a brake upgrade on my race car. the e12s fit perfect, and have the dual front lines that i dont have today.

Wade, Reman are your best bet, I have night mare stories about new "non german" units. They do not last. I have spent many hours diagnosing brake problems, just to discover that there was a failure on the new master. This also goes for clutch masters and slaves. never buy a part like this from autozone. go to a roundel advertizer.
