I live in Utah & have driven Bimmers of various types in winter(318, 528i 735i etc) & the 528i handles the best. It's still nothing compared to my grandfathers fwd avalon or my moms audi quattro. tho I do put narrow snow tires on every winter.

Does anyone drive their 528i in the winter?

How does the engine react to the cold weather?

I expect that its not great in slippery conditions, b/c of rear wheel drive and longer wheel base. I am more worried about starting the car in 10 degrees fernheit (that will be the lowest, other wise I'll stay home!)

If your wondering where I live, I live in Halifax, NS.
