I'm doing the 3.5 liter conversion on my 80' 528i. I've been reading the FAQ on first fives.com very closely. I picked this 528i up for about $150 3 months ago with a blown motor. It's got leather seats, power everything, not a crack in the dash, nice original paint. This is a very nice car. Anyways, I was wondering if this is a direct swap? Everything fits, right? Fuel injection and all? I seem to remember reading that the distributor needs an adapter of some kind? Can somebody who has done this conversion give me some info? I'm looking forward to getting this thing on the road, it reminds me of an enlarged version of my 320i.
