I have a 79 528i, and I'm wanting to do some easy, do-it-yourself mods to get a bit more performance out of it. I want to get a K&N air filter, and I have sort of modified for cold air induction (thanks to the First Fives page). I was just curious if there are any other easy, $cheap$ things I can do to bring up the power. Also, does anybody know if anyone makes a good looking rear spoiler for my car? I don't want it to look like a rice rocket. Thanks.Tyler
I have an 81' 528i, and wanted to do some simple upgrades to improve performance. The K&N filter I put in made immediate improvements. Also invest in a set of platinum spark plugs, and in a set of high performance spark plug wires. I also inversted in a performance coil. Lastly, replace your negative battery cable with a thick monster cable which reduces reistance overall. These improvements have given my car noticable lift over the yeaqrs.
