I found an E12 535i with minor front end damage. Radiator had obviously been popped but everything else was intact including the entire drive train. The guy at the yard wanted $1000 for the whole car. There was 212,000+ on the odometer. Does this sound like a good deal to you all? I'm going to drop the 3.5 into my e21 and probably won't use the motronic fuel injection. The car has aftermarket oil temp and pressure gauges above the shifter as well as an e30 motorsport steering wheel (not in the best shape), so I deduced that the owner at least cared for the automobile. On a side note, would anyone be interested in parts from the car if I find stuff I don't need and if I do buy it? I have a friend that owns a recycling place that will take the chassis and crush it, but I'd hate to leave something cool on it that you guys would like.
