I suspect others may disagree, but the only time I've seen problems with bearings in an M30 engine is when it was run out of oil. As long as you haven't let it get low on oil and have changed it regularly, I wouldn't bother. I have taken engines with lots more miles on them than yours regularly up to and even beyond redline with no problems. Of course I have taken apart a few engines with a tenth of an inch in one rod bearing, but it was always run out of oil, usually because of bad valve guide seals.
