Hey Guys,
First off, kill the lawyers.
In the past six months there has been a lot of changes in liability and car shows. Not long ago an Audi owner was killed while driving to a car show. The lawyers of this guy’s family are going after the coordinators and anybody associated with the car show. He was not an Audi club member.
BMWCCA membership offers protection from individual lawsuits. I’m not sure of the legal-Es here. It’s what we are being notified of from the LSC of BMWCCA.
All participants of 5er Fest need to be BMWCCA members to protect everyone involved. This evet is going to be sponsored by The Lone Star Chapter of BMWCCA. The Auto-X presents a big liability issue and BMWCCA membership is required.

BMWCCA is a great thing. I really enjoy the membership which includes many discounts at BMW parts suppliers and a great magazine.

I’m not real happy with the requirement, but here we are. I hope we all understand.

Thanks,
Duke
