The hazard switch doesnt often go bad, it just wears, if you open up the switch you will see what happens to it, just bend it back straight , pop it together, give it a try. Bad contacts and ground problems may also be a culprit, bimmers are notorious for this.
: My turn signals don't work. Nor do my hazard lights....exactly. This is a really goofy electrical problem, but when the hazard lights are on, the passenger side turn signal lights are on constantly, and when the parking lights are on, the drivers side turn signal lights remain on. ??? I checked the fuses, rotated them, and everything. checked connections. changed bulbs. Not wanting to spend 15 bucks! on a flasher which I wasn't sure was going to work anyway, I went to the local u-pull and grabbed about 3 flashers. I also looked for hazard light switches, but there were none to be found in the 10+ 320's I checked. (this indicated that my problem might lie in this swtich) Anyhow, none of these things worked, and I'm just lost now. could it be the column switch? the light switch? Corroded sockets? Any help is much appreciated. TIA everyone!
