How is the spare tire well in your parts car?

I too have an 82 320i, in relatively good shape. The spare tire well is
begining to rust out (quickly). I can't seem to find any aftermarket
body parts shops that make the spare tire well. All used parts yards
seem to have rusted out tire wells also. If yours is in good shape, and
you could cut it easily with a griding disc, sawzall, or something else
(I wouldn't use a torch for this as it gets close to the gas tank
towards the front), email me a price.
