when I first got my 79 it had an 82 or 83 manifold and part of the downpipe on it, so it does fit but not the best way to go. I now have a 79 manifold on it and when i put the 81 head on I will put my tii maniofold on. I felt that the newrer manifold was restricting, plus it doesnt just bolt up to the exhaust.

: Can anyone tell me if an exaust manifold from an '82' 1.8 320i,,,, will fit on a '79' 2.0 320i ?????
