My family's 1977 BMW 320i with 197K miles was
parked in my parent's garage in Somerset, NJ back in
August 1995 with no pre-storage prep. When I drove in,
the car's engine/automatic trans were in good shape, with
just a brake job needed.

We just "unstored" it and fired her up. Looks like the lovely little creamsicle may need a head gasket kit, and there's some rot in the floor boards. On the plus side, there's a manual sunroof and BLaunpunkt stereo w/alum wheels.
